People seem to be very nice. However that being said the videos that they send with the invoice don't seem to match up. What's being said in the video and what's being actually put on paper are two totally different things. When confronted they print you out a whole different list. So it's hard to trust what is being done because you don't really know because everything's contradicting each other. I took my vehicle to Hanson Subaru for repairs. I was told, via text, that the vehicle needed over $10,000 in repairs including a new transmission due to a noise that the service technician heard. I towed my vehicle to another location and the vehicle was repaired for $1,400. The noise went away after the wheel bearing was fixed. I believe Scott was the name of our service technician. I will not return to this location for service or purchase.

My wife and I drove from Gresham, Oregon to Hanson (about 120 miles one way.) We test drove the vehicle we were interested in, thoroughly liked it, and were ready to purchase it until I found a nail in one of the tires. In 2019 I purchased a Subaru Ascent Touring model with tow package. The dealership sold me a model that had transmission software issues and no remedy! Due to the constant turnover of service center staff, no one took the time to help me. In 2020 Covid-19 happened and nothing could be done to help me (first year of car warranty lost.). Ordered a 2022 Forester and put a $500 deposit down on it. When we left the dealership we didn't receive the sales slip they only gave us the factory order sheet and there was no indication of the $500 deposit or that it was non-refundable. They only gave us the factory order sheet. When we finally got the sales sheet the MSRP and the "Hanson" price were off by $2600!!! We cancelled the order and now they will not give us the $500 deposit back.

Hanson Kia if Olympia played pricing games for over 6 hours. The salesman told inappropriate jokes and got the paperwork wrong multiple times. Even after spending way too much time at the dealership we had to return 3 times to correct information on the paperwork. The car is nice but I would buy it from someone else

I bought a 2022 Kia Carnival and I am very pleased with my MPV (car)! When I went to look at the Carnival I explained I wanted one in blue. Skip looked and found one for me that was being shipped into another dealership. He was able to secure the car for me. I had to wait for it to come in but it was well worth the wait! We took my husbands car in to get a new battery put in ($200) asked about the car settings and was told everything would be good. Nope!! All his settings he set up on the car over the years were gone. The radio does not hook to his phone and when he does get it to set it will drop it after awhile. First rate customer care! From the moment you drive onto the lot to when you leave you are taken care of. Loaner cars are immaculate. Work done on my vehicle was well coordinated as it also involved an outside source ie windshield replacement along with oil change and computer update. All work was completed so that I didn't have to drive multiple times to the dealership saving me time and inconvenience. Kudos to a great dealership--I would highly recommend Hanson Motors!

Service dept. is a joke. I had a 10:00am appt. on 12/28/2020. I dropped off a 2017 Kia Forte on 12/27/2020 for a large amount of warranty repairs. Tail lights full of water, trunk full of water, and blower motor went out. I was supposed to pick it up on Wednesday, and I had to pay to rent a car as they would not provide one. I had difficulty coordinating with a dealer near my Seattle residence to handle a warranty repair, and contacted Hanson Subaru where I had purchased the car knowing I would only be in Olympia for a short visit with family. After reading through the reviews I SERIOUSLY hope you consider bringing your car to a different servicing facility for work on your car. With this being a Subaru dealership you would expect a high level of expertise regarding your Subaru vehicle however that was not the case with my vehicle. Hanson Subaru almost caused an me to get into an accident TWICE! I took my 2014 Subaru Outback in for a recall on the emergency brake actuator. When I received my car, there was a loud clunking sound from my rear suspension. Before I could get my car back in to get checked out MY BRAKES COMPLETELY FAILED ON ME!. I had to have the Takata airbag replaced in my 2013 Subaru Forester due to the recall. Besides that, I needed the battery replaced, as well as the air filter, plus a broken back light bulb. Hanson Subaru did a great job on all those, plus, as all Subaru dealers always do during any service, a multi-point inspection was performed.

Subaru owners beware! Avoid taking your car there for service. We brought in our 2017 Touring Outback car for service, under warranty and was charged a diagnostic fee for a service covered under warranty. They also wanted to charge me $400++for brakes to be replaced, when it falls under Subaru's wear and tear 36,000 mile warranty. I brought in my car for the 30,000 mile service and they also did not cover the wiper blades which fall under the warranty. I left there paying $500 for an oil change and tire force balance. if they had a minus, I would go that way.. I took my car in for an oil change, and I just checked it a week after having it done, and as sick as it made me feel,, the discovery I saw when I checked the oil level on the dipstick,,,is one and a half to two quarts too much oil!!! this is very bad,,, I'd rather see too little oil than too much....I'm very disapointed...never take it there again...be warned,,,if you value your new car, have it serviced somewhere else

We looked for months at SUV cars. We found likes and dislikes. We even talked to people we met out and about about their vehicles. After narrowing our choices KIA won. We visited Hanson Motors and looked at all the suv's the KIA Sportage EX won. It has more functions than I will ever use but I liked the way it drove. Having had an "unpleasant" experience getting my WRX serviced here before, I decided to give them another try because heck, people have bad days. I went their on 8/9/2017 for an air conditioning recharge and noise problem with the front end. Got there at about 9:30 am. At 10:30 since I hadn't heard anything yet I walked over to the service center and I asked a technician if they had found out what the noise was and he said they hadn't started on it. We worked with Don and John thru internet sales. They were very helpful. When it came to picking up the car and sitting with the finance woman (Penny) the experience became quite unpleasant. She felt increasing the monthly payment by $80 a month was no big deal. She didn't relent on trying to sell us multiple extra warranties until I questioned whether we should be purchasing this car if it was so bad she was sure the the computer system would fail.
